As a Community Interest Company we think it is really important to support other local charities. £1 from every 10 and 20 mile race entry will go to KC Active, which is a small charity providing sporting and recreational facilities, for residents in the local area. KC Active is set on a 12 acre site, with two full sized football pitches, a floodlit 3G all-weather multi-use games area, floodlit tennis and netball courts, pumptrack, play areas for younger children and a community function room with kitchen and changing areas.
The 20 mile route goes very close to the Active, and it is also the HQ for our 10k run.
